Pia-Paulina Guilmoth is an American photographer living in rural Maine. She works mostly with large-format film cameras, and her photographs deal with change, belonging and the natural world.

At Night Gardens Grow is a new edition of her 2021 book. It is set in a small town in Maine and mixes real and imagined stories of family, memory and the land, including baptisms, funerals, house fires and births. For this edition Guilmoth added and removed photographs, and made a recycled dust jacket from flower petals and earth. Under the jacket, open stitching reveals new photographs of spider webs.
