 Gerry Johansson (b. 1945) is a Swedish photographer. For more than forty years he has photographed ordinary places in Sweden, Germany, America and Japan in a calm, straightforward black-and-white style. His books include Sverige, America, Pontiac and Deutschland.

This small book shows photographs Johansson took in Chicago over eleven days in March 1976, early in his career. Like his earlier Breadfield titles New York 62/63 and Paris 1980, it brings out pictures from his archive that had not been seen before, giving a look at the city's streets and buildings in the mid-1970s.
